Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language template provided for transparency. It is not legal advice — have it reviewed by counsel before you rely on it.

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run the Service: your email for sign-in, your API keys (stored only as hashes), and usage counts. We don’t sell your data, run third-party ad trackers, or store passwords. You can export or delete everything from your dashboard at any time.

What we collect

• Email address — to send your one-time sign-in code and identify your account.
• API keys — we store a one-way hash, never the secret itself. We can’t recover a lost key; you rotate it.
• Usage metadata — per-day request counts and breakdowns (provider, type, source, errors) shown in your analytics.
• URLs you submit — processed to generate an embed and cached briefly to keep the Service fast and cheap.
• Operational logs — limited request data (e.g. IP) used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To provide the Service and show you your own usage analytics.
• To enforce rate limits and protect against abuse.
• To communicate about your account (e.g. sign-in codes).

Cookies

We set one essential, HttpOnly cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third parties

• Cloudflare hosts the Service and provides its database, cache, and email delivery. Your data is processed on Cloudflare’s infrastructure.
• The sources you embed (YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.) serve their own content and scripts inside embeds. Their privacy practices apply to that content.

Data retention

Embed results are cached only for a short, provider-suggested window. Usage records are kept to power your analytics. When you delete your account, your user record, API keys, and usage data are removed.

Your choices

• Export — download everything we hold about you as JSON from the dashboard.
• Delete — permanently remove your account and associated data from the dashboard.

Changes

We’ll reflect material changes in the “last updated” date above.
